Nothing But the Blood...

It's Good Friday...So, just hear this song and capture the lyrics, really meaningful...

Verse 1:

What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Verse 2:

For my pardon, this I see,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
For my cleansing this my plea,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Verse 3:
This is all my hope and peace,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
This is all my righteousness,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Verse 4:
Glory! Glory! This I sing—
Nothing but the blood of Jesus,
All my praise for this I bring—
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Sung by Brooke Fraser, Hillsong United.

Many people ask...

"Why is good friday GOOD?"
"Why is it called that way?"

Well, Jesus' death marked a new beginning. It is supposed to be the end of our sinful life but Jesus made a way, He died and rose again. So, without this day, we cannot move on. Now that Jesus has shed His blood on the cross for us, we have the gift of eternal life. So, how can you call this day a terrible day? It's a day where all of us are free from the bondage of sin!

I'm not trying to stir up emotions here but it's's true...

Tomorrow is Good Friday and I'm involved in the drama presentation. So, will have a final rehearsal tonight. Really busy...Praying hard for more souls to be saved...

JPA Interview Reflections...

My interview was held at Putrajaya Convention Centre.

I reached there about 12 something and...

WOAH!!! So many people - handsome boys, pretty girls, nervous parents

At that moment I thought
"Looks like all of these handsome and pretty faces are also coming for interview huh?"

I was afraid. Didn't know so many smart people in Malaysia. I was stripped off my pride.

And yea, I was one of the shortest boy there, but that didn't matter much to me anyway.

I had to comb down my hair (like a nerd) so that my dyed hair couldn't be seen, or maybe not too obvious. I looked like this...

I was not comfortable with this kind of look because normally my hair is always big and wavy...DIVA hairstyle, something like that...

But I still smiled as if "I am going for a PARTY!!!" or "I got chosen for AMERICAN IDOL!!"...

What an actor...I was nervous at that time, wondering what question would the interviewers throw at me...I read notes on why I want to become a dentist and 9 types of field in dentistry...Nothing got into my head eventually, so I talked with people and got to know them...

When it was my turn to get interviewed, it was 4 something already...And then not long after that, I realized I was the only boy there with 4 other girls with me. Couldn't remember their names but I know that they were April babies, same as me...All of them were born on the 26th except for me, 29th...That's why all of us could get along so quickly...

We introduced ourselves and then one of the interviewers who was also a doctor threw us this question...

What do you think about Malaysia sending an astronaut to space program?

Dumbfounded...Should I say it's good or it's a waste of time and treasure?

We were given 3 minutes to discuss among ourselves first before each of us voiced out our opinions. So, I was first.

I said,

"The program did lift our country's name higher. So, it was good but anyway, this program certainly had its pros and cons. We didn't and we couldn't see any progression. Datuk Syed Muzaffar (did I spell his name correctly?) did not make any research after he went to space. He turned out to be more like a celebrity and what we could see him now in TV promoting earth hour and nothing else, that's all."

Oh no, I made a mistake. I shouldn't condemn him...

Then the doctor asked how could we link the long term benefits of Astronomy to our field of study.

My lower jaw was like dropped...Good thing she gave an example, Telemedicine.
Frankly speaking, I have never heard it before. Anyway, when it's my turn, I just talked crap. Haha...I said,

" Since we have telemedicine, we can have teledentistry as well?"

Then, I talked about dentists communicating with each other via the internet. Then I talked and talked for quite some time suddenly I was talking about cosmetic dentistry. It was fun actually. Haha...

Anyway, it was really an experience for me. Whether I'll get it or not, I'll leave it to God.

And yea, when I went back home, I checked the internet whether there was such a word called teledentistry. And guess what? Yes!! There's such a word!! Thank God!!

Posters Story Part 2...more like ending actually

Edwin passed the posters to the church committee to choose one suitable poster for the church.

And at last, Poster 3 was picked!!

And yea, poster 3 got the most number of votes too...

Poster 1, 2 and 5 were more for concert...that's what people commented.
For poster 4, it's a bit lonely for that one person worshiping God.
So, the more the merrier!!! That's how Poster 3 got chosen.

Anyway, Edwin changed the fonts colours into white instead of black and it looked slightly brighter...

"Anonymous X" requested Edwin to put the poster on blog to let him/her look at it.

And this is how it looks...
